In years past, Blue Envelope financially supported the endeavor to build loaner life jacket stations along the river for public use. This project promoted a safe and healthy environment along our beloved North Platte River.
It’s time to restock those loaner life jacket stations and continue supporting Respect Our River’s mission.

They are looking for volunteers to restock the life jacket loaner stations over the weekends of July 24, August 14, 21, and 28th.
There are loaner stations at McKenzie Pond (off of Bryan Stock Trail), at the Tate Pump House (by the white water park), at Paradise Valley (just north of the park by the river and it can be seen from the road), at Morad Park and at Robertson Road.
The biggest movement of life jackets is from floaters going from the Robertson Road station to the Morad Park station, so jackets will need to be moved back upstream from Morad to Robertson. Inevitably, people forget to return or keep the life jackets, so volunteers will pick up extra life jackets from the Casper Fire Department. Details will be provided to volunteers.
To sign up, please email Jennifer Henderson at jhenderson@casperwy.gov.
Blue Envelope and the Respect Our River community thanks all who have already volunteered this summer and those who will continue to help us keep our river safe and fun for all!
