Celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of 2024, the Blue Envelope Health Fund embodies the belief that ‘Every Body Counts’ and is excited to continue its vital work for a healthier Natrona County in 2025.

The Blue Envelope Health Fund, a dedicated local nonprofit, made significant strides in improving health throughout Natrona County in 2024 by empowering community organizations through funding. With a focus on Cancer, Wellness, Mental Health, and Heart Disease, Blue Envelope provided crucial support that emphasized education, prevention, and early detection.

Driven by a commitment to community health, Blue Envelope proudly assists Natrona County by uplifting nonprofits in need. Through a monthly board review process, grantees receive funds aligned with Blue Envelope’s mission. In 2024, over $164,000 was granted to nonprofit organizations, directly enhancing initiatives that enrich the health and well-being of Natrona County residents.

In the Cancer division, Blue Envelope contributed more than $30,000, with approximately $14,500 designated for patient assistance. This vital support helps patients navigate treatment by covering essential expenses like bills, transportation, and rent, allowing them to focus on what truly matters – their health.

The Heart Division of Blue Envelope made a lasting difference by distributing over $17,500 worth of AEDs and lifesaving medical equipment, including a Lucas machine for the Casper Mountain Ski Patrol. Thanks to an AED provided through a Blue Envelope grant, a skier’s life was saved on December 28, 2024. The Natrona County community can take comfort in knowing they have access to such critical resources, made possible through Blue Envelope’s generous support.

Blue Envelope’s commitment to nonprofits spans a vast array of programs, demonstrating the importance of community collaboration. From food services for the disabled and senior citizens to youth treatment programs, diabetic care initiatives, and pediatric specialty clinics, more than $105,000 has been granted to elevate the health of Natrona County residents.

Ken Morse, Blue Envelope Board President, shared, “Blue Envelope has sustained a profound impact on our community for over 60 years. When you give with that little blue envelope, you know your contribution will help ensure that ‘Every Body Counts’ in Natrona County!”
